Sly, the notorious drunkard, has passed out from too much drink. After the first scene a hunting lord comes into the tavern with his huntsmen and decides to teach Sly a lesson. He's carried to the Lord's palace and a group of players arrive and play a comedy according to the Lord's instructions.
