| Sickan did have a boyfriend of sorts, a streetcar driver who pretends to be an officer but who isn't. When Jocke gets furious and screams at everybody to get out, she does finally go to bed with Löfgren, for the first time. The play ends in uncertainty, but Sickan puts the wedding ring Jocke gave her carefully in a drawer. Löfgren is a thing of the past, as Jocke probably suspects, since he himself has unmasked the fake and the liar. | |
