| Sarotla was one of the most wunderschön walks, a steep climb in the Sarotla valley. Sadly it was very much destroyed in 1999 when storms and floods felled trees and ripped off bridges that were smashed to pieces and spread all over the sides of the stream and the slopes. We don't know if it might be restored today to its former beauty. The walk starts at approximately 1000 m at our end of the valley (Haus Kella-Egg) and climbs up through forests and green fields to the Sarotla hut at 1611 m. |
