Although the Temple of Luxor is less grandiose than that of Karnak,
it is nevertheless an impressive and worthwhile site to visit. We saw
it late in the afternoon, with sunlight coming in low from the west.
As in Karnak, there is a profusion of columns, fewer of them, but nevertheless beautiful.

In the evening, the temple is very nicely illuminated. And you can see
it without purchasing a ticket and without having to put up with stupid
words and pompous music.
