Drove along the coast mostly in mist or outright rain. Stopped at Skogar to see the waterfall and the folk museum. Then on to Reykjavik for a night at the domestic airport.

18 ... but the interior comes from an older church, dating from 1879.
19 The "Pétersey" fishing boat is named after the "Island" near where we stayed at Vellir near Vík. She was built in 1855 and used by farmers for cod fishing. She continued sailing until 1946.
