The Niggenkopfbahn travels up from Brand to Niggenkopf, a starting point for many varied walks. Most simply, one can eat at the Niggenkopf Station or either of the two nearby stations, the Palud Alp or the Berghaus Melkboden. An easy walk of one and a half kilometers leads to the Parpfienzalp, where cheese sandwiches with fresh milk or beer are available. From here, walks lead to the south, towards the Schillerkopf or Mondspitze or down towards Bludenz. Best of all, there is a rich choice of three paths to the Amatschonjoch.
